Introducing AquaMarin Synchro!
About Us
Aqua Marin Synchro, founded by parents of Synchronized Swimmers in 2010, is a 100% non-profit organization independent of any private club and is the only Synchronized swim team in Marin County. We offer a different swim team experience for girls ages 7 to 18 and a challenging swim experience for adults. For the age group swimmers, the season runs from September through early June though we swim "year round". Our coach is here to help the swimmers improve their skills and fitness. We are looking for well-rounded happy, healthy young people with the skills to succeed not only in Synchro, but more importantly in life! Synchronized Swimming is for those who love spending their water time upside down rather that back and forth doing laps. Swimmers develop strength, flexibility, artistic interpretation, timing, body awareness and confidence in individual and team competition. To introduce new swimmers to the sport, first practice is always free!
ABOUT COACH CHRIS SCHROEDER

She has coached youth swimmers for 23 continuous years here in Marin. After college, she coached in Switzerland and Holland. Her Dutch swimmers were European champions in 1973! Two swimmers became the 6th place duet in the 1986 Olympics. Chris loves that Synchro has brought her travel and many friends since she first started the sport at age 12.
